Finding Her Stride: Aanya Trivedi’s Journey Beyond the Finish Line

From the outside, Aanya Trivedi’s story may seem familiar - a driven Indian-American teenager, a competitive track athlete with over 100 medals, balancing school, sports, and big dreams. But Finding Her Stride begins where the highlight reel ends. Born to Indian American immigrants, Rekha Shetty Trivedi and Nimesh Trivedi she is a 16 year old author of Finding Her Stride. She hopes to make a difference sharing her experience with teens, parents, coaches and educators.

In her debut book, Aanya invites readers into the quieter, more vulnerable moments of adolescence, the self-doubt that can follow success, the pressure of expectations and the challenge of discovering who you are while the world watches who you’re becoming. Written as an A–Z journey of emotions, the book captures the full spectrum of her experience, from feeling absorbed and uncertain to discovering resilience, purpose and confidence.

While track is central to Aanya’s life, it is not the whole story. She writes candidly about the mental side of competition, the sacrifices made by family, the influence of mentors and coaches and the constant balancing act between ambition and well-being. Along the way, she uncovers an important truth: winning does not silence insecurity and strength does not mean never struggling. Growth often happens in the spaces between effort and reflection.

What makes Finding Her Stride especially meaningful is that it reaches beyond personal achievement. For Aanya, this book is not just a milestone - it is a way to give back. Every dollar earned is dedicated to helping underprivileged youth athletes gain access to proper shoes and spikes, transforming her journey into an opportunity to uplift others chasing their dreams.

Finding Her Stride is not just for athletes. It is for teenagers searching for their voice, parents witnessing their children grow and anyone navigating the messy, meaningful process of becoming. Aanya Trivedi’s story reminds us that finding your stride is not about moving faster—it is about moving forward with purpose.

BANA extends its heartfelt congratulations to Aanya Trivedi and wishes her continued success as she inspires young minds and future champions.
