Obituary: Thejaswi D. Gurumurthy


Thejaswi Dikshit Gurumurthy, 51, of West Windsor, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.


Born in Hassan, India. Thejaswi was a devoted husband, father, son and friend whose enthusiasm, unbridled love for life,and warmth touched all who knew him.


He was predeceased by his father, Dikshit Gurumurthy.


Thejaswi is survived by his loving wife, Dhanalaxmi Shetty Thejaswi , his cherished daughter, Aarushi Thejaswi, his beloved son, Vyshakh Thejaswi and his mother, Sudhamani K Nanjappa. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he enriched.

Funeral rites and services will be held privately

Dhanalaxmi Shetty served as Treasurer of the Bunts Association of North America from 2017 to 2019 in New York.
