Remembering Dr. Vasanth Kumar Rai

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Vasanth Kumar Rai who left us on the third of July, 2025 in Canada. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered for his immense strength, deep kindness, and unwavering love and loyalty to his family, and his larger than life personality.
Vasanth served his community as an anesthesiologist around the world and never forgot his duty to help others even outside of the hospital. He spent the last 18 years in Canada as an anesthesiologist in Miramichi, New Brunswick before retiring and enjoying his last years traveling and spending time with his family.
Final rites will be held in India. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been completed.
